History & heritage

Maine broke away from Massachusetts and became the 23rd state in 1820 under the Missouri Compromise. With the state motto “Dirigo” and a founding year of 1820, Maine carries a history you can wear on your chest — that's what our print-on-demand apparel is here for.

Geography & landscape

Maine has more coastline than any Atlantic state, thousands of islands, and Mount Katahdin — the northern end of the Appalachian Trail. Covering 35,380 sq mi, Maine lies in the Northeast region and runs on Eastern time.
