History & heritage

Nicknamed the Centennial State for joining the Union in 1876, Colorado grew from silver-mining boomtowns into a modern hub for aerospace and recreation. With the state motto “Nil sine numine” and a founding year of 1876, Colorado carries a history you can wear on your chest — that's what our print-on-demand apparel is here for.

Geography & landscape

The Rockies split the state, the Great Plains roll east from Denver, and red-rock canyons of the Western Slope tumble toward Utah. Covering 104,094 sq mi, Colorado lies in the West region and runs on Mountain time.
