History & heritage

Admitted as the 45th state in 1896, Utah was settled by Latter-day Saint pioneers in 1847 and named for the Ute Native American nation. With the state motto “Industry” and a founding year of 1896, Utah carries a history you can wear on your chest — that's what our print-on-demand apparel is here for.

Geography & landscape

Red-rock canyons dominate the south, the Wasatch Range and Great Salt Lake anchor the north, and the Bonneville Salt Flats stretch west. Covering 84,899 sq mi, Utah lies in the West region and runs on Mountain time.
